CSIA was established under the guiding philosophies of 'love for God, humanity and the nation' with a commitment to educate children to become future leaders with a character as a true parent, a true teacher, and a true owner. Therefore, graduates of CSIA should be able to play a key role on the global arena serving a nation as well as the world any place any time. This journey begins from very early on, that is, from the first year of a middle school to develop students with full credentials to become leaders of the future.

01.
Altruistic Mind
Students are taught why they have to develop an altruistic mind which is one of the critical qualities needed to become a global leader, eventually learning to care about others by keeping their rooms organized, encouraging each other and letting others go ahead first in a dorm life together.
Particularly sharing a public space or a room with a roommate allows students to build an altruistic mind as it requires caring for others all the time, while making them realize that a strong sense of ownership based on an altruistic mind is a virtue that a true leader must have.
02.
Creative Knowledge – promoting the CSIA Dream Bank
Once every quarter of a year, a student creates a Dream Sheet of his or her own, where the student writes down what he or she wants to do in the future, the first step towards defining his or her own identity, along with detailed strategies to be taken to accomplish that future goal. Furthermore, students are allowed chances to maximize application of creative knowledge in real life.
03.
Global Network – Mandatory use of English at CSIA Dorm
A. Mandatory use of English at formal/informal gatherings
B. Regular presentations on future career & study plans to Dorm parents and students on a quarterly basis
C. Recruitment of English natives or natives of other languages as dorm staff
Students are required to attend the CSIA Leadership Development Program 10 times a semester which is a shortened version of the national leadership program adjusted to meet the needs of CSIA students.
In order to make CSIA DORM a world-class facility, several top-level schools were benchmarked including Korean Minjok Leadership Academy in Korea, Choate Rosemary Hall School, Phillips Academy Andover in the U.S., Eton College, Harrow School from U.K and the Matsushita Institute of Government and Management.
Two students share one room at the dormitory and each room is equipped with a local heating control, a lavatory, a shower booth, and a toilet. The floor of the room is a three-layered ondol floor, Korea's traditional floor heating system, complete with a eco-friendly wallpaper, which are all aimed at improving a student's concentration and overall heath.
