The Student Residential Life program at our high school aims to cultivate well-rounded global leaders in line with our ACG educational philosophy. At the heart of this initiative is the Global Leadership Training Center (GLTC), which offers a nurturing environment for students' holistic development.
These student leaders actively participate in monthly councils to discuss and enhance dormitory life, addressing student needs and future pros- pects. They also run a counseling program based on their own experiences to support first-year students.
Students living on campus from high school gain several advantages. They develop self-management skills and self-discipline through structured residential life. The communal living environment fosters mutual respect and empathy, helping students learn to take charge of their lives and develop independent living habits.
These programs include basic etiquette education, mentor-mentee activities, and establishing guidelines for respectful cohabitation. Through these initiatives, students form healthy relationships, enhance their sense of community, gain social interaction experience, and boost their self-esteem.
Students select themes in areas such as study habits, daily routines, etiquette, and health, using a 66-day habit tracker to monitor progress. This consistent effort helps students develop good habits, contributing to their personal growth and sense of achievement. Overall, the Student Residential Life program nurtures responsible, respectful, and self-motivated individuals, preparing them to lead and thrive in a global community.
